A Winter's Tale - Opening Post + International Giveaway

Happy December, y'all! It's me, Ruzaika, making an entrance here quite a bit earlier than anticipated because the situation called for it- sounds glamorous, but not really, because it's the end of the year (like, where did the year even go, right?) and we're all suddenly busy trying to meet deadlines and survive what's left of the year and trying hard not to freak out and...well. I'm going off the course here. Let me rephrase.

What I meant to say is, Vera and Clare worked hard to bring together some of our favourite bloggers for a blogging event this month- quite alike what we did with A Christmas Story the past couple of years- but it's obviously Winter-themed here in order to make the grinches feel welcome (yes, Roberta, we're looking at you! xD), and to be inclusive of those who don't celebrate Christmas. We love ALL of you and know that centering an event around a holiday not everyone is celebrating is unfair.

I'm here today to officially kickstart the event with a list of all the wonderful blogger-friends who will be guest-posting here throughout the course of the month.  Excited already? No? Well, you will be once you see the amazing people we have lined up for the month!

Without further ado, let me present-

Ann, sister of our very own Clare, from Dual Reads
CW from The Quiet Pond
Holly from The Fox's Hideaway
Olivia from Olivia's Catastrophe
Riza from All That is Cultural
Roberta from Offbeat YA
Sam from We Live and Breath Books
and
Tessa from Crazy for YA

These lovely, lovely humans will be taking over The Regal Critiques every Thursday and Saturday this month, starting from the 6th. We have a variety of posts lined up including -

lists of hidden gems
discussions
recommendations
fangirling over authors
& lots more

I'd tell you what "lots more" entails, but that would quite spoil the suspense, don't you think?

Oh, and the BEST THING - Vera here, because haha, I forgot to tell Ruzi about this part somehow!? We're hosting a giveaway for a book of your choice up to 15USD! It's INT as long as The Book Depository ships to you, and the only rule we have is that those under the age of 16 should ask for permission from their parent/guardian before entering.

You can enter right here, right now, and the winner will be shared on the 31st! May the odds be ever in your favor!

a Rafflecopter giveaway

{Ruzi from now on again.} So yeah, that's it for now. Don't forget to keep an eye out on your feed for these posts- we hope you'll enjoy reading through these because, let me tell you, they are all just brilliant

So long! Hope you have yourselves a lovely December!

  5. It sounds like a great event and a great crew of people! I hope to learn new and interesting things about various subjects! Did you know that there was a deleted scene in "A Christmas Story" where our hero fought Ming the Merciless alongside Flash Gordon!--It's true!

  7. Yay! I can’t wait to read everyone’s posts - and you have some brilliant bloggers being featured as well! (Not talking about myself, just to make that clear :P) Christmas is my favourite holiday because it’s the one we actually celebrate (we don’t really do any others) so this month always makes me so happy!
