Top Ten Blogging Resolutions for 2015

TTT is a weekly meme hosted by The Broke and the Bookish

Hello everyone. Today's Top Ten Tuesday topic is my top ten resolutions for 2015. I never actually made any resolutions because I suck at following lists but I'll try to follow these ten blogging and reading resolutions, I promise.

Ann Aguirre - As Long As You Love Me (2B Trilogy #2)

"Maybe friendship didn’t have one concrete definition, one certain way to be; maybe it was enough to love somebody however they let you and for the pieces to click in, however felt right."

Most people dream about getting out of Sharon, Nebraska, but after three years away, Lauren Barrett is coming home. She has her reasons; missing her family, losing her college scholarship. But then there's the reason Lauren can't admit to anyone: Rob Conrad, her best friend's older brother.

Football prowess and jaw-dropping good looks made Rob a star in high school. Out in the real world, his job and his relationships are going nowhere. He's the guy who women love and leave, not the one who makes them think of forever; until Lauren comes back to town, bringing old feelings and new dreams with her.

Because the only thing more important than figuring out where you truly belong is finding the person you were meant to be with.

Top Ten Book I Wouldn't Mind Santa Bringing This Year

TTT is a weekly meme hosted by The Broke and the Bookish

Hello everyone. I'm totally in the Christmas spirit and I completely forgot that today is Tuesday which of course means a new TTT topic. All I can think about are presents and cookies and family and decoration because me and my mum are so behind on everything and tomorrow is Christmas. In Hungary we celebrate Christmas on the 24th of December which is Christmas Eve and we call it "Szenteste" which means Holy Night.

I love this week's topic that is the Top Ten Books I Wouldn't Mind Santa Bringing This Year. Just so you know in Hungary Santa comes on the 6th of December and on Christmas Eve the angels are the ones who bring the presents for us. I love that all the countries have different Christmas traditions so if yours have any that you consider interesting or extraordinary tell me in the comments if you'd like. I'm so excited.

Barry Liga - I Hunt Killers (Jasper Dent #1)

“Fear can keep you alive. The trick is not to let it overwhelm you. Not to let it rule you. If you’re afraid, that’s the universe trying to tell you something. Get away. Don’t run; don’t panic. Just pick up and walk out, calm as you please. Panic makes you stupid.”

What if the world's worst serial killer...was your dad?

Jasper "Jazz" Dent is a likable teenager. A charmer, one might say.

But he's also the son of the world's most infamous serial killer, and for Dear Old Dad, Take Your Son to Work Day was year-round. Jazz has witnessed crime scenes the way cops wish they could—from the criminal's point of view.

And now bodies are piling up in Lobo's Nod.

In an effort to clear his name, Jazz joins the police in a hunt for a new serial killer. But Jazz has a secret—could he be more like his father than anyone knows?

2015 Reading Challenges

Hey guys. I'm so excited to tell you all that in 2015 I'll be participating in five reading challenges. I know, it sounds a bit too much and something that I can't possibly do but I hope I'll prove everyone who doubts that I'll succeed (including myself) wrong. I have close to no experience with challenges, honestly I've only participated in one so far:  2014 Summer Reading Challenge. It was fun but it wasn't nearly as much fun as I hope these five will be. If you are still looking for challenges to participate in I think you can find at least one from these four amazing challenges that will interest you.

The Sham by Ellen Allen: Blog Tour

Hello sweeties. Today I’m here with The Sham Blog Tour. The Sham was written by Ellen Allen and seems to be a very amazing book, so do check out the excerpt I pasted in my post. Don't forget to visit the other tour hosts! You can find reviews, other excerpts, and author interview and a playlist.

Here's the blurb:

When love leads to death, be careful who you trust…

Eighteen-year-old Emily Heath would love to leave her dead-end town, known locally as "The Sham", with her boyfriend, Jack, but he's very, very sick; his body is failing and his brain is shutting down. He's also in hiding, under suspicion of murder. Six months' ago, strange signs were painted across town in a dialect no one has spoken for decades and one of Emily's classmates washed up in the local floods.

Emily has never trusted her instincts and now they're pulling her towards Jack, who the police think is a sham himself, someone else entirely. As the town wakes to discover new signs plastered across its walls, Emily must decide who and what she trusts, and fast: local vigilantes are hunting Jack; the floods, the police, and her parents are blocking her path; and the town doesn’t need another dead body.

Wendy Higgins - Sweet Evil (The Sweet Trilogy #1)

Embrace the Forbidden

What if there were teens whose lives literally depended on being bad influences?

This is the reality for sons and daughters of fallen angels.
Tenderhearted Southern girl Anna Whitt was born with the sixth sense to see and feel emotions of other people. She's aware of a struggle within herself, an inexplicable pull toward danger, but it isn't until she turns sixteen and meets the alluring Kaidan Rowe that she discovers her terrifying heritage and her willpower is put to the test. He's the boy your daddy warned you about. If only someone had warned Anna.

Forced to face her destiny, will Anna embrace her halo or her horns?

Release Calendar #1: 2014 December

A few weeks ago I finally stopped doing Waiting on Wednesday posts due to it feeling like a task rather than something I like making. However I still want to share the books I'm waiting for so I decided to write monthly posts, named the Release Calendar. Hope you'll enjoy.

Bookish Awards #2: 2014 Fall

Hello sweeties. I came up with the idea of this award because one way or another I'm always disappointed in the results of the book awards. Don't get me wrong I respect everyone's opinion but I usually don't agree. Anyhow I'd decided to make seasonal and yearly book awards. In every seasonal book awards I choose one winner to 11 categories. I think I told everything I wanted to so let's get started.

(Don't) Judge a Book by It's Cover: YA Fantasy

I created (Don't) Judge A Book By It's Cover approx. two months ago because I think the warning Don't judge a book by it's cover can't always be done.  After all when you're at the bookstore the first thing that catches your eye is the cover, then the title and just then the synopsis. Because of this a cover has to be eye catching and it has to fit the story because it's always a huge disappointment when you expect something based on the cover and then the blurb is something entirely different.

In every (Don't) Judge A Book By It's Cover post I'll write about 5 to 10 original covers and then study 4 or 6 editions of it. I talk about all the featured covers but on rate the original one. It can get one point for each of these aspects:

Connection to the story

I've done one post like this before, it was about NA Contemporary Romances, click here if you want to check it out. I really hope you'll enjoy my post.

Sisterhood of the World Bloggers Award/Tag

Hello darlings. From the title you could've seen that I'm not entirely sure if this is a tag or an award because everyone seems to think differently but I'm going to say it's a tag because I might tag people who have award free blogs. All thanks to the lovely Holly over at The Fox's Hideaway  and Claire over at Cover to Cover who were both kind enough to tag me.

Thanks to being tagged by two bloggers I'm answering 20 questions. Get ready for a bunch of boring answers the fun!

Top Ten Books I'm Looking Forward To In 2015

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by The Broke and the Bookish, this week's topic is the top ten books I'm looking forward to in 2015. Last night and this morning there wasn't internet connection thanks to the horrible weather so that's why I'm posting my TTT later than I usually do.

Neither one of these books are from debut authors because I'm putting those aside until the list in January. Click on the covers for Goodreads page.
