Our Over-Flowing Spring TBRs

Hello, friends! Veronika here, and I am über-pumped for today's post, because today marks the first occasion when Clare, OUR NEW CO-BLOGGER, is joining me for Top Ten Tuesday (hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl)! As for the topic, Spring TBR... by now, many of you likely know that I'm terrible at following TBR lists. No joke, at this point the bar is set so low that I'll celebrate reading even one (1), yes, ONE book from this list by the end of spring. What about you, Clare?

Clare: Honestly with my current reading I'll be lucky to hit one all spring too! But there are so many amazing books releasing this season and so many other incredible books that I own and still haven't read because I am awful at TBRs!!

Now, Spring, 2018, we're READY TO READ ALL THROUGH YOU.

Clare

The City of Brass (The Daevabad Trilogy, #1) Red Sparrow (Red Sparrow Trilogy #1) Ready Player One Out of the BlueThe Cruel Prince (The Folk of the Air, #1) The Tombs Furyborn (Empirium, #1) The Smoke Thieves (The Smoke Thieves #1) Reign of the Fallen (Reign of the Fallen, #1) Beasts Made of Night

  1. I love your lists!!! BIG GIGANTIC YES TO-- Ready Player One, The Arsonist, and The Husband's Secret!! They are all A++++++. I'd also like to read Obsidio at some point, but it's not high on my list because HYPE and I still haven't read Gemina haha. I'm trying to finish People Like Us now, and it's kind of slow TBH :(

    1. Thanks, Michelle!! I'm so excited for The Arsonist (loved the authors debut, Minnow Bly!!) and I've heard SO MUCH about Liane Moriarty, it is totally shameful I haven't read anything by her. Gemina was AMAZING, though!! Don't let the hype scare you away if you liked Illuminae. Ugh, sad to hear that about PLU, because it looks sooo good. Hope it's picked up later on!

  4. Soo many books I either read, want to read or want to buy!

Read Ready Player One, The Cruel Prince are two I've read so far and liked the first, loved the latter.
Obsidio is my current read. I couldn't not start reading right away when it arrived yesterday, haha.

Reign of the Fallen, Furyborn [ARC], The Husband's Secret, People Like Us, Children of Blood and Bone are all books I already own but have yet to read.

Out of the Blue and Leah on the Offbeat are two books I NEEEED. Can't wait to get my hands on those!

    Awesome lists! :D

    1. My copy of Obsidio has just arrived yesterday, and wow, I AM SO EXCITED. I've heard nothing but fantastic things about it.

I absolutely cannot wait for all the books you listed as 'owned', especially Children of Blood and Bone which also has recently arrived, and IT IS SO PRETTY. The wait for Leah is NEARLY OVER, but I'm so struggling with having to wait still, argh.

      Thank you!!

Veronika - I can't believe I haven't read Amour Amour yet! As much as I ♥♥♥ KBR I just haven't got to it yet. Bad Romance is another one. And I'm so excited for Leah on the Offbeat! I'm expecting greatness! :)

    1. Amour Amour sounds SO GOOD, especially the circus setting! I never seem to be in the mood for Bad Romance, BUT I'm very excited for it! I heard nothing but great things basically, and I loove Demetrios's novels, so I have huge hopes. Leah is DEFINITELY going to be great, I just hope it gets the love and hype it deserves.

You know, Albertalli writes it, I must read it. I am absolutely reading Obsidio, because I actually have a copy of the book. and The Arsonist has been on my radar for quite a while.

Same, Becky Albertalli is such a fantastic writer, I need like, 100 books by her haha. I'm going to read Obsidio soon, and I cannot wait after the unbelievable hype that's been surrounding it.
