Top Twenty 2015 Releases I Meant To Get To But Didn't

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by The Broke and the Bookish

Hello lovelies. Today's TTT topic is the Top Ten 2015 Releases I Meant To Get To But Didn't. There are SO MANY 2015 releases I failed to read, so I decided to list the top 20 books, instead o top 10. Sorry not sorry.

  1. We share two books this week. I'd love to read The Summer of Chasing Mermaids and the Anatomical Shape of A Heart this year. :-) I hope you get to read these books!

  2. Ooh, I've actually not seen a couple of these, and they look interesting. But some of these are also books I'd like to get around to reading eventually, like Uprooted, The Game of Love and Death, and... the entire Jeanine Frost series lol.

    1. OH MY GOD, YOU DEFINITELY HAVE TO GET STARTED ON THE NIGHT HUNTRESS NOVELS!! Seriously, that series IS SO FREAKING AMAZING. Hope you'll enjoy the rest, as well! :)

  3. Oooh Uprooted was amazing! I hope you get to read that this year! There really were so many great looking books out there last year. From your list I'd love to read The Uninvited, Ink and Bone and Saint Anything. And I hadn't heard of The Summer of Chasing Mermaids so I will go check that out now :) Happy Reading Veronika!

    1. I'm glad you say that because I'm SO EXCITED FOR THAT! I heard mostly super-positive things about The Summer of Chasing Mermaids, so I have huge hopes for that one. Hope you'll get the chance to read all these books! <3

  4. Written in the Stars has such a pretty cover! I can't believe I haven't read it yet! I meant to read The Summer of Chasing Mermaids in the summer, but time got ahead of me. Hopefully this year!

    1. IKR? And I heard pretty great things about it, too! I planned that, as well, but I was in a huge reading slump for like half of the summer, and didn't get nearly enough books read. :(

  5. Uprooted is one I wanted to much to read and I bought it straightaway after reading some rave thoughts about it. And then, the book came and all of a sudden, so many negative reviews started to pop up and my initial excitement for it decreased. I just want the hype to die and that's why I'm waiting.
Ink and Bone is another title I might get to this year because I do find the topic fascinating and I decided not to read reviews about it so my thoughts won't be tainted.
Good luck on getting to all of these Veronika!

    1. I won Uprooted in a Giveaway, and got it when it was published, but I never seem to be in the right mood for it. Tbh, I'm not even sure what it is about, and I do have the same fears as you.
I really enjoyed Rachel Caine's Morganville Vampires series AT FIRST, so I have huge hopes for Ink and Bone - I just hope it won't be unnecessarily stretched out.
      Thanks, you too. :)

  6. I LOOOOVED Uprooted! I hope to re-read it this year, it was that good.
A Madness so Discreet is great too, not at all what I expected but that made it even better.

  8. LOL Love that you went for 20 instead of 10. :) I'm sure I could have come up with 20 as well. The Wrath & the Dawn is on my list, too!

    1. Haha, glad you do. :) 20 and it STILL doesn't contain half of the 2015 releases I wanted to read, but missed. :(

  10. The only book here that I've read is Uprooted - although I'm totally going to have to be in the minority here and say it was merely okay. I don't regret reading the book, but I also certainly don't think it's worth the hype it got.
I do have Ink and Bone and The Wrath & the Dawn on my list, too. They both sound awesome and I am so planning on making time early this year to read them

    1. NOO, DON'T SAY THAT! I've heard so many mixed things about that novel and I'm so freaking afraid of it. :|
Hope you'll love them - I'm definitely waiting until The Wrath & the Dawn's sequel comes out. :D
