Top Ten Book I Wouldn't Mind Santa Bringing This Year

TTT is a weekly meme hosted by The Broke and the Bookish

Hello everyone. I'm totally in the Christmas spirit and I completely forgot that today is Tuesday which of course means a new TTT topic. All I can think about are presents and cookies and family and decoration because me and my mum are so behind on everything and tomorrow is Christmas. In Hungary we celebrate Christmas on the 24th of December which is Christmas Eve and we call it "Szenteste" which means Holy Night.

I love this week's topic that is the Top Ten Books I Wouldn't Mind Santa Bringing This Year. Just so you know in Hungary Santa comes on the 6th of December and on Christmas Eve the angels are the ones who bring the presents for us. I love that all the countries have different Christmas traditions so if yours have any that you consider interesting or extraordinary tell me in the comments if you'd like. I'm so excited.

My picks are in no particular order. :)

Realistic Fiction:

Fantasy:

Romance:

Mystery:

Retellings:

These were my most desired books what are yours? Don't forget to share with me in the comments. Have you read or want to read any of these?

  1. I really need to read The Madman's Daughter, I've had it on my kindle forever and I've heard such amazing things about it. I hope you get ALL THE BOOKS from Santa :)

    1. Yeah me too! Unlike you I heard pretty bad things about it but thankfully I read a review of it which made me see how amazing this book is to some so I'm giving it a chance. :) I doubt I'll get any of these books haha. I hope you'll get the ones you want though. :)

  2. Besides Please Ignore Vera Diez and The Mad Man's Daughter I don't know the other books you've listed but I hope you get some of them :)
And the way you celebrate Christmas is really interesting as well. Spain has it different also because the whole Santa tradition is not original from our culture. We get our presents from the Three Magical Kings who visited Jesus in the Bible during the night between the 5th and 6th of January, but we have incorporated Santa because getting double presents is better LOL

    1. I doubt I'll get any of these but that would be amazing!
We learnt the Spanish traditions this year (I'm learning Spanish but I suck at it LOL) and I was so surprised that you get presents from the Kings and have all these completely different traditions than other countries. Haha we get double presents too! Though on the 6st of December people usually only get chocolate.

  3. Great list Veronica! Other than The Body Finder, The Mad Man's Daughter, Play of Light and Please Ignore Vera Dietz, I haven't heard of the other books. These look really interesting! I'm going to check them out now. I read Play of Light from Netgalley, and trust me, it was really good! I hope you'll like it too :)

    1. Thanks! I hope you'll find some that you want to read. :)
I hadn't heard anything but great things about Play of Light so I'm positive I'll enjoy it too! :)

  4. The Madman's Daughter made my list too! I've heard mixed reviews about it so far, however I'm excited to give it a try. I'm not as familiar with your other titles, but just based on covers they're captivating (I don't just judge on covers, though I'm sure the content will be good). It's cool how everywhere has their own traditions for a common holiday. I'm in the US, so we wait until Dec. 25 for the "big day". Thanks for sharing:) I wish you a Merry Christmas and I hope you find some of these books under your tree!:)

    1. For a long time I didn't want to read The Madman's Daughter because of the negative reviews but thankfully I found some that praised it and now I'm so excited. Hope we'll both end up enjoying it! While covers don't define a book I love gorgeous covers.
Merry Christmas to you too! :DD
I hope you'll find some books under your tree. :)
