Top Ten Sequels I Can't Wait To Get

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by The Broke and the Bookish. This week's topic is the top ten sequels I can't wait to get. I chose books that aren't published and I hope you'll all find some that you want to read. I tried to put them in order but it was hard, so don't take it too seriously. The first four choices of mine are books that I'm equally excited for.

10. K. A. Tucker – Becoming Rain
~ the second novel of the Burying Water series

9. Jessica Verday - Of Phantoms and Fury (cover not yet released)
~ the second novel of the Of Monsters and Madness series

8. Amy Kaufman & Meaghan Spooner – This Shattered World
~ the second novel of the Starbound Series

7. Jeaniene Frost - Bound by Flame
~ the third novel of the Night Prince trilogy

6. Danielle Paige - The Wicked Will Rise
~ the second novel of the Dorothy Must Die trilogy

5. Marie Rutkoski - The Winner's Crime
~ the second novel of the Winner's Curse trilogy

4. Kiera Cass - The Heir
~ the fourth novel of the Selection series

3. Maggie Stiefvater - Untitled (cover not yet released)
~the fourth novel of The Raven Cycle series

2. Marissa Meyer - Winter (cover not yet released)
~ the fourth novel of The Lunar Chronicles

1. Richelle Mead - The Ruby Circle

~ the sixth novel of the Bloodlines series

What do you think about my picks for today? I'm dying to see YOUR TTT lists so don't forget to link it up in the comment section.

  1. Great picks. We shared some in common. A few of these series I have been hesitating to read, but maybe I'll have to give them a shot. Thanks for sharing!

  3. Yaaay for the Lunar Chronicles and the Raven Cycle! I have them on my list too!! (I'm freaking excited for Lily Blue. I know it's out, but I just haven't gotten my clammy paws on it yet.) And ohhhh This Shattered World is AMAZING. I can't wait for book 3 now, hehe. That's the problem with starting series before they're all out.... the wait is paaaain.

    1. I'm certain Winter will be even better than the previous novels in the series, I think The Lunar Chronicles keeps getting better. I can't wait to finally read This Shattered World, I'm dying to know more about this strange world. Lily Blue was AWESOME! Another series that keeps getting better. I can't wait for the last book, seriously if it won't end with a happy end for everyone I'm going to cry for days haha.

  4. Great picks! You just reminded me that I need to read These Broken Stars, Dorothy Must Die and The Winner's Curse! I also featured Richelle Mead's Bloodlines series as well =) And I'm reluctant about starting both the Lunar Chronicles and The Raven Cycle series.... I don't want to be disappointed by them =(

    1. Thanks! Both of the three books you mentioned were amazing but maybe Dorothy Must Die was my favorite of them. I'm devastated because the third book will only come out in 2017! Sooo far away. Can't wait to finally see Sydney and Adrian get their happy ending, at least I really hope that is what's gonna happen. I'm sure you won't be! I was really afraid I wouldn't like The Lunar Chronicles because I hate sci-fi but that's one of my favorite series no... and Raven Cycle is wonderful too! Really hope you'll enjoy both of these. :)

  5. I really, really, REALLY need to catch up The Raven Cycle! Gaby is all caught up and head over heels, so if you ever need someone to gush over, she's your gal!

Love your list (probably because it's strikingly similar to ours!)

  6. THE RUBY CIRCLE *screams for an hour* IT CANNOT BE THE END. SO CLOSE.
So was Burying Water really good? I read Ten Tiny Breaths by the author and though I loved the message I hated the characters.
I wasn't a fan of The Elite or The One but the covers *.* Like why can't other series have these kinds of matching covers.
I love love love The Lunar Chronicles and I can't wait for Winter!
I have yet to read The Raven Boys and The Winner's Curse but they are one of those reads that are just waiting to happen.
    Lovely list!

    1. I'm sooo excited for The Ruby Circle, there are still so many things unsolved. I really enjoyed Burying Water, I had a few problems with it but it's a strong four star rating for me. Check back later for the review if you want to read my opinion.
IKR? I think no one redesigned these covers of The Selection trilogy, honestly which best-selling author can say that about her/his books? Talking about covers, I'm sure Winter's will be breathtaking too!
You should totally start both of these series, they are AMAZING!
      Thanks!

  7. I've heard such great things about the Cinder series and The Winner's Curse! I'm kind if keeping them on standby for a rainy day.... I have very high hopes!

    Happy reading!

  8. I spend most of my day pining for books. After I finished The Winner's Curse, I legit went online and was like, where can I read an excerpt of The Winner's Crime?!?! Agh. And I binge-read the entire Bloodlines series two months ago and NEED the last book. <3 Sydrian.

    1. Haha, I'm your opposite like that. I hate reading excerpts because after those I can't contain myself and just NEED the book immediately. I really really really hope that everything will end freaking perfectly for Sydrian or else...
